 GULFTAINER CELEBRATION (SHARJAH)
For over thirty years, the Sharjah based UAE private company, Gulftainer has grown together with the UAE and today this port management, operating and transport logistics business is poised for even greater successes.
At a gala evening held at the Millennium Hotel in Sharjah on 20th November, Gulftainer and guests, celebrated three decades as successful and innovatory contributors to the UAE transport and trading scene - as well as thanking those long term and current partners who have helped to make this success possible.
The event was honoured by the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Sharjah and Sheikh Khaled Bin Abdullah Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Chairman of Sharjah Port Authority as well as many other senior dignitaries.
Adding to the occasion were senior guests from Gulftainer's partnerships overseas representing Kuwait Port Authority, the Government of the Comoros, Pakistan's Pak Shaheen Group and Sharjah's Al Marwan Group.
Gulftainer director and general manager Peter Richards gave the keynote address in which he highlighted the achievements of the company and lauded the contribution of its employees over many years - and the participation of Gulftainer's partners - particularly the close colleagues and friends in the Sharjah Government and Sharjah Port Authority.
His Highness the Crown Prince generously agreed to present specially produced memento items to the distinguished partner companies and these were given to His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Abdullah Bin Sultan Al Qasimi of Sharjah Port Authority, Mr. Farrukh Qaisar of Pak Shaheen Group, Vice President Mr. Idi Nadhoim of the Comoros Islands and Mr. Marwan Al Zaiem Al Marwan of Al Marwan Group.
