Established in 1977, the Transport Division, operating in the names of Trucktainer and Speedtrux is one of the largest transport companies in the UAE.

Operating the unique Sharjah Mini Bridge to transfer the in-bond containers between Khorfakkan and Sharjah for onward delivery throughout the UAE, the fleet is also active in local and international collections and deliveries. In addition the division handles containerised sea-air cargoes from port to Sharjah & Dubai International Airport plus out of gauge and low loader work. A growing number of retailers and manufacturers contract the transport division for just-in-time(JIT)services.

The division boasts 110 tractor units and more than 180 trailers, comprising DAF, MACK, VOLVO, KENWORTH, and SCANIA trucks as well as platform, low bed tipping and skeletal trailers.

In October 2006 a joint venture was signed with the Pak Shaheen group of Pakistan for Gulftainer to operate and manage a transport and logistics operation in Pakistan.
