Gulftainer were awarded, early in 2010, the concessions to operate Berth 8 in South Port Umm Qasr, and, to complete construction of and develop and operate Berths 10 & 11 'The Iraq Container Terminal' (ICT).

Berth 8 became operational in August 2010, and ICT will be operational in late 2011.

Two mobile harbour cranes have been received and in operation since December 2010.
