About Gulftainer

An end-to-end supply chain, logistics and ports solutions provider with global footprint of multi-purpose ports, terminals, warehouses and transport facilities, enabling seamless trade for our customers.

WE ARE GULFTAINER

A true global success story borne out of Sharjah
From our roots in Sharjah to our international reach today, Gulftainer stands as a testament to the United Arab Emirates’s excellence in port operations as we’ve redefined what’s possible in our industry. Our operations span strategically across four nations, with terminals that consistently set new standards for efficiency and innovation.
In our home market of the United Arab Emirates, we manage Sharjah Container Terminal and Khorfakkan Container Terminal – the latter ranked as the most productive port in the EMEA region. Our footprint extends to Saudi Arabia through Jubail Commercial Port, while our presence in Iraq through the Iraq Container Terminal showcases our ability to operate in diverse markets.
Pushing boundaries further, our expansion into the United States of America with Canaveral Cargo Terminal marked a milestone as the first Middle Eastern port operator to establish operations on American soil. Through strategic investments in technology and infrastructure, we’re not just moving cargo – we’re moving the industry forward.
Momentum Logistics, established in 2008, is a vital component of our unified service offering. As a fully integrated third-party logistics (3PL) provider, it complements our port operations by delivering comprehensive supply chain solutions, freight forwarding and logistics services.
For five decades, Gulftainer has consistently delivered powerful, tailored solutions that drive our customers’ competitive advantage and fuel their business growth. We are ready to build on this legacy of excellence for the next 50 years and beyond.

OUR STORY

Partnering progress in global trade
Since 1976, Gulftainer has been transforming the landscape of port operations and logistics. Our story began with a single terminal in Sharjah, and has evolved into a testament to innovation, precision and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Today, we stand as one of the world’s most productive port operators, orchestrating seamless trade flows across continents. Our terminals don’t just connect points on a map – they connect possibilities. We’ve reimagined what port operations can achieve, consistently setting new benchmarks in speed, reliability and technological integration.
At Gulftainer, we believe in the power of partnership. Every container we handle, every logistics challenge we solve and every efficiency we create is driven by our commitment to the success of our customers. We’re not just operating ports – we’re building bridges for the future of global trade, one innovation at a time.
