Over 1.3 Million Tons of Cargo Handled, Major Milestones in Space and Trade Logistics Achieved

Since the opening of its Canaveral Cargo Terminal (CCT) in 2015, GT USA has become a cornerstone of Central Florida’s economic and industrial expansion, moving over 1.35 million tons of cargo, forging vital international trade routes, and supporting America’s space economy.

  • 603,677 Tons of Imported Lumber, from long-standing customers Mercer Timber and Binderholz, supplying major retailers and construction firms across the U.S.
  • Over 8,100 tons of recovered materials launched into space from SpaceX handled , along with satellites, capsules, and other aerospace components
  • 675,780 Tons in container cargo, including trade with Europe, the Caribbean, and West Africa
  • 28,665 Tons of vehicles discharged through rail connections, including partnerships with Nissan and FEC Railway
  • Support for humanitarian missions, reef restoration, and infrastructure development across the Americas

Connecting Florida to the World
GT USA’s reach extends across oceans, with vessels arriving from Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and West Africa. Partnering with respected lines like Seatrade, Ultrabulk, Schuyler Lines Navigation Co., Oldendorff, Oslo Bulk, US Ocean, and NorLat, GT USA has enabled the movement of refrigerated goods, military supplies, specialty cargo, and sustainable lumber from ports all around the world.

A Strategic Partner for the New Space Economy
Since partnering with SpaceX in 2015, GT USA has become a key logistics partner for Florida’s booming space industry. The terminal has assisted with offloading over 8,100 tons of recovered space materials. A landmark moment came in 2023, when GT USA assisted with the assembly of one of the largest mobile harbor cranes in the U.S. to support Blue Origin operations.

Growth Through Infrastructure and Innovation
In the past two years, GT USA has significantly expanded its infrastructure to support growing customer demand. The company constructed two covered storage facilities (17,000 sq.ft.) prior to initiating a major warehouse development project. Since then, five bonded warehouses (56,250 sq.ft.) have been added, with a further four set for completion by mid-June 2025, which would provide a grand total of 118,250 sq.ft. of bonded warehouse space. In addition to physical growth, GT USA has implemented multiple automated systems to enhance operational efficiency and safety, including automated rigging equipment and cargo processing systems. These investments reflect GT USA’s continued leadership as a safe, productive, and innovative terminal operator.

From pioneering eco-conscious projects, such as artificial reef deployments, to hosting military logistics for U.S. Air Force operations abroad, GT USA continues to demonstrate the flexibility and foresight that modern ports demand.
